One piece at a time.

A — Why one thing LOT 001 · 900 PIECES
A single Pitch crew on a steel rail in raking light
Porto, Portugal

A wardrobe does not come together because of the interesting pieces. It comes together because the plain ones are right.

A crew that sits on the shoulder rather than past it, in a cloth heavy enough to keep its shape, in a colour that agrees with everything already in the drawer — that is what makes the rest of a wardrobe work. Basics are not the filler between the good pieces. They are what the good pieces stand on. Get them right and you stop replacing things every season.

So we make those, one at a time, and we say exactly what they are: the weight of the cloth, the mill it came off, the number of pieces that exist. Where we do not know something yet — a mill still being confirmed, a graded measurement not yet checked against production — the page reads TBC rather than filling the gap.

A lot closes when it is gone. It stays online afterwards with its real status, because an archive that quietly deletes its failures is not an archive.
